UltraViolet Disinfection Tower UV-Blaster developed by DRDO
UltraViolet Disinfection Tower is a UV based sanitiser developed by DRDO. With Covid-19 Pandemic spreading allover, sanitisation has become a must everywhere. Therefore to handle this DRDO has come up with its new innovation.

Chemical sanitisation is not feasible everywhere. Hence, DRDO has come up with Ultraviolet Disinfection Tower which is chemical free.
They named this Ultraviolet Disinfection Tower UV-Blaster.
DRDO has designed and developed this UV based area sanitising disinfection tower at Laser Science and Technology Center (LASTEC).
Its’ a Delhi based premier laboratory of DRDO and built with the help of a private company NewAge Instruments&Materials Pvt. Ltd..
This Ultraviolet disinfection tower or UV-Blaster will be an effective way of sanitising areas where chemical sanitisation is suitable.

Where can we use this UV-Blaster
It is useful in areas where sophisticated equipment are used.
electronic gadgets like computers or such hitech surfaces, which are not chemical friendly can be easily sanitised with this UV-Blaster.
Above all, this product is effective at places where large movement of people is inevitable.
Places like shopping malls, airports, theaters, metro trains, factories, offices, hotels etc. can be benefited.
Besides, the UV Blaster is designed using 6 UV Lamps. Each lamp has 43watt UV-C Power. With 254 nm wavelength the UV-Blaster has a 360° illumination.
These rays are similar to C-type UV radiations seen in sun rays. Earths’ Ozone layer filters this rays naturally.
The C-type UV Radiation used in this UV-Blaster are also similar.
We can operate this UV-Blaster with a laptop/computer or a mobile phone.
As a result, this Ultraviolet disinfection tower or simply the UV Blaster can be easily operated remotely.
It’s safety feature will turn it off automatically when someone opens the door or any human movement in the area.
UV Blaster will sanitise a 12×12 (144 Sq. Ft.) room in 10 minutes, even more a 400 Sq. Ft room need 30 minutes.
